UNM 2010 – Topics
The special session on Uncertainty in Network Mining will focus on methods from uncertainty and probability theory in network and graph mining.
We solicit novel and interesting research results related to, but not limited to the following topics:
- Probabilistic network models
- Uncertainty in social and media network modeling
- Probabilistic graph-based recommendation
- Methods for link prediction
- Modeling heterogeneous networks
- Probabilistic mining of ontology-based networks
- Papers that establish new network or graph models, or extend established network or graph models in non-trivial ways
- Papers that present new methods to solve practical machine learning or data mining problems
- Papers that describe the application of probabilistic network and graph mining methods to real-world data
