UNM 2010 – Special Session on Uncertainty in Network Mining
The special session on Uncertainty in Network Mining at the International Conference on Information Processing and Management of Uncertainty in Knowledge-based Systems (IPMU 2010) will focus on methods from uncertainty and probability theory in network and graph mining.
This special session will be organized by the Competence Center for Information Retrieval and Machine Learning of the DAI-Labor at Technische Universität Berlin in conjunction with the Computational Intelligence working group at the Department of Knowledge and Language Processing, University of Magdeburg, and will focus on methods from uncertainty and probability theory in network and graph mining. Topics will include probabilistic network models, uncertainty in social and media networks, probabilistic graph-based recommendation, probabilistic link prediction, heterogeneous networks and probabilistic mining of ontology-based networks. Theoretical as well as practical papers are solicited.
