The project „Regioabsicherung“ is a research cooperation between Volkswagen Research and the DAI Labor (TU Berlin). Within the scope of the project, engine data, collected from various sensors, is evaluated to detect typically patterns. These patterns will be used to optimize tests to ensure the compliance with EU limits. Therefore, new methods of machine learning are explored and developed, which are capable to process the huge amount of engine data efficiently and intelligently.
