Agents in Sensor Networks

One area where extreme distribution and dynamics can be observed is the area of sensor networks. Agent oriented approaches are well suited to this environment, but any practical implementation needs to deal with the additional requirements of limited resource usage. To this end, the CC ACT developed the agent framework microJIAC which is executable on small devices and can communicate with its big brother JIAC V. Furthermore, mircoJIAC is currently extended with real time features.
